# Custom liquid & HTML

### Custom liquid

Custom Liquid outputs a multi-line text field that accepts HTML and limited Liquid markup.

Steps

1. In the theme editor **(Customize)**, click **Add section.**
2. Locate **Custom liquid.**
3. Add a custom liquid to the blank field.
4. **Save.**

### Custom HTML

Custom HTML outputs a multi-line text field that accepts HTML markup.
