# How to migrate your Zest theme to version 7.0.0

In Zest **version 7.0.0 onwards**, we have updated Zest theme for it to support [**Color schemes**](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/theme-structure/color-scheme) 🎨

Follow the instructions below to migrate your Zest theme data from the older version to the latest version that supports Color schemes:

**Steps:**

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > [Themes](https://admin.shopify.com/themes).
2. Click the ( <img src="/files/VhcCZ7Dj5AlRS72KYR4X" alt="" data-size="line">) button next to the theme you want to update to open the actions menu > select **Download theme file**.

The theme is sent in a `.zip` file to the email that's associated with your [staff login](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/your-account/staff-accounts).\

3. Once you have downloaded your theme, go to [Zest migration tool site](https://zest-migration.foxecom.app/).
4. Verify your store license by submitting the shop domain that you used to purchase Zest from the Shopify Theme Store.
5. Upload the`.zip` file that you downloaded earlier and wait for a few seconds.

A`.zip` file of the updated Zest theme will be downloaded after the updating process is completed.&#x20;

6. Use that package to install it in your store. See [Install Zest theme](/zest-theme/getting-started/install-zest-theme.md)
