# Add custom badges to my product card

## Set up the product tag&#x20;

1. From your Shopify admin > Products, select the product you want to add custom badge.
2. Add the tag you want to display.

There are 3 supported tags:

<pre><code><strong>tag__hot_[DISPLAY_TEXT]
</strong>tag__new_[DISPLAY_TEXT]
tag__sale_[DISPLAY_TEXT]
</code></pre>

*For example:* tag\_\_hot\_HOT  > the custom badge will show **HOT** text.

## Display your custom tag badges on Product card

In your theme editor (**Customize**), go to **Theme settings** > **Product card** > **Show custom tag badges**.
